Go Rockies!!!

Tonight Chris, Uncle Twan and I went to the first Rockies game of the year.  What a game, they won 15-4, it wasn't too hot, we got a little rain, and the Rockies gave us a fun game to watch.  We are so lucky to have Twan in our lives, he has been Chris's best friend since pre-school!  Thanks for going to the game!

Jackson was definately the biggest fan, but unfortunately it was too cold for him to come.  He got to stay home with Nana.  We feel so blessed to have Nana living so close now, and I am so happy Jackson gets to spend so much time with her. Thanks Mom!!! We love you!

Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower

Sunday was Amanda's Bridal Shower, it was a Kentucky Derby theme. We all wore big hats and dresses. We had Mint Juleps, caprese skewers, little sandwiches and cupcakes. It was a lot of fun! There were prizes for the biggest and most creative hats. I don't have pictures of the winners, but they were pretty extravagant.

Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was very special. I woke up to Chris making me breakfast: turkey bacon, eggs, toast and coffee! I love breakfast. Jackson suprised me with a spa package for a Carribbean Manicure and Pedicure and thanked me for being his Mom. What a sweet little boy! It was such  beautiful day, we decided to go spend the day in Estes Park. We drove to Bear Lake and the plan was to walk around the lake, but there was still a ton of snow and it was starting to melt so it was very slippery and icy. Cowboy boots don't do well on ice. So we just walked up and sat for a little while and enjoyed the sunshine. Then we went back into town and enjoyed ice cream and walked down the river walk. What a wonderful day!

Chris also suprised me with a Keurig Coffee Maker when I woke up this morning for my birthday! How exciting! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and family. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, too!

Two Months

Jackson, you are two months today!

We have so much fun playing with you, you always give the biggest smiles and coos! You are so observant with those big beautiful eyes. You like to look at our faces and try to copy our expressions,

 We have been very busy, and you have been so mellow through it all. Many visitors, going out and about, cleaning and moving Nana to Greeley, and a wonderful visit from Aunt Leez and cousins Mason and Emma.

At two months:

-You weigh 11 lbs and 23.25 inches long

-You haven't rolled over yet, but you are getting close

-You are full of smiles

-You love to put your fists in your mouth

-You love taking baths

-You sleep about 5 hours at night, then want to snuggle with mom and dad

-You like when we sing and dance

Jackson, you continue to bring us so much joy everyday. We love you so much!!!!!
