Yesterday, Chris came home wearing his new FR's (Fire Resistant Clothing). At fisrt thought...wow look, a man in uniform!!! At second thought...that must get hot wearing that everyday, but at least he is protected if a fire were to occur. Third thought...I am so proud of my husband, he has come a long way from when I first met him. Lets say when I met Chris he was exploring many jobs, not sure of the direction he wanted to go.
1. Joe's Lawn Care
2. Seamless Siding
3. Rocky Mountain Deck and Fence
4. K Bar K excavating
5. Peterson Pet Provisions
6. Enercrest
7. Schneider Energy
a. Roustabout
b. Roustabout Foreman
c. Roustabout Supervisor
Chris got started in the oil field through our neighbor, who told me they were looking for good, hard workes that were dedicated and reliable. I told him about Chris, he gave me an application and Chris was hired the next day. His hard work, loyalty, and dedication has paid off, and has earned him 3 promotions in one year. The definition of Roustabout-unskilled laborer-makes me chuckle. Those guys out there work hard in all weather condition so we have clean gas, we can drive our cars, and our houses have electricity. The definition doesn't talk about the character of the person who is doing the job. I am so proud of you Chris, thank you for all your hard work!
These are examples of the batteries Chris has built. After the drilling rig finds the oil they cap off the oil well and leave the site. Then, Chris and his crews come in and build the battery tanks and run pipe from the well head to the battery tanks to seperate water, oil, and gas. (my very basic understanding)
never heard of a roustabout! I like the name:) we are so proud of uncle chris too...unskilled or not. haha.
